At present, common seals are widely used in automobile cooling water pumps sealing, yet after a long period of usage under temperature changing, the common seals are easy to lose the sealing function, and the cooling medium flow directly to the bearing end and cause erosion, lead to failure of the pump, result in engine damage, and the follow-up maintenance cost is too great. Our unique seal design patent, achieving the 2nd sealing of the cooling medium to prevent its leakage and avoid the consequent erosion and failure problems. Compared with the common seals, our developed seal is more simple in structure, more cost-effective, more reliable, so that the life of our pumps are longer than others.


Currently, bearing off is one of the main causes of pump failure, this invention is to put a snap ring between water pump body inner bore and shaft bearing, to achieve a tight fit between shaft bearing and the body, then to avoid the shaft drift in the body bore or even drop off, improve the safety and reliability of automotive water pumps, and the structure is simple, the manufacturability is good.
